About Tree Worx Limited
TPOs (Tree Preservation Orders) & Conservation Permission
Many trees that are particularly important to the local environment are subject to Tree Preservation Orders. This means that you need to apply for permission to fell, prune or do other work to them. It is an offence to do work to a tree covered by a Tree Preservation Order without first getting permission from the local authority. TPOs are placed on individual trees, groups of trees, and even entire woodlands where the protected trees are of great aesthetic local value. The punishments for non-compliance can run into thousands of pounds in fines and replacements for both the arborist and property owner.
Felling Licenses can also be completed for and on the behalf of our clients after a detailed site visit. Please contact us for more information on any of the above.
